Local and International Biopharma Community Convenes at Korea’s Largest Biomanufacturing, CGT and Biologistics Co-located Event
Update : 28th April, 2022 |
As COVID-19 related restrictions ease up in Korea, the region’s many Biopharmaceutical manufacturing and logistics leadership personnel will gather in-person for the biggest Biomanufacturing, CGT and Biologistics co-located conferences on the calendar, the 11th Annual Biologics Manufacturing Korea, Cell and Gene Therapy World East Asia and 3rd Annual Biologistics World Korea, held at Songdo Convention Center on 29th – 30th June.
C-level and Vice President level leadership of companies such as PharmAbcine, Orgenesis, Rznomics, Celltrion and more will speak at the BioManufacturing World Korea conference, where they will join an agenda built around success stories from Korean biopharmas. There will be presentations on the latest manufacturing technologies, as well as an exhibition of the leading solutions available to bioprocessing businesses.
Logistics and cold chain management from biopharma manufacturers such as Santen, SUN Pharma, Johnson & Johnson and more will join the supply chain heads of major companies like Cold Chain Platform, Hanmi Pharmaceuticals, Blue Blood Biotech, British Standards Institute, Singapore Health Promotion Board and more. Crucial issues in cold chain management, end-to-end logistics excellence and packaging will be discussed alongside an exhibition for leading logistics vendors.
With significant opportunities abounding in biologics manufacturing and vaccine development, technologies like single-use and continuous processing for biologics, key challenges in cell therapy manufacture, cost-reduction in downstream processing as well as pathogen safety will be crucial points of interest and all are unpacked by those most qualified to talk about them at this event.
At the same time the actual delivery of highly time and temperature sensitive products to those that need them the most is beset by major challenges in the form of cold chain maintenance, freight forecasting and the need to digitalise further, making biologistics crucially important. These issues will be discussed at the BioLogistics event exclusively by those with the experience to do justice to the topics.
Alongside the conferences, the Korea Bioprocessing Excellence Awards will be taking place. This awards show seeks to give recognition to exceptional bioprocessing experts, organizations and technologies that facilitate biomanufacturing and biologistics excellence at enhanced speed, reduced cost, and superior quality. Featuring top bioprocessing, biomanufacturing and supply chain leaders in the industry, along with the latest advances in technologies and best practices in manufacturing, the Korea Bioprocessing Excellence Awards applauds extraordinary leaders & trend-setters of today and inspires innovators of tomorrow.
The organiser, IMAPAC, is a home-grown Singaporean firm that acts as a biopharma marketing partner to the industry and uplifts the research and commercial arms of biopharma in Asia.
