David Evans to become Managing Director of Movianto UK

Update : 24th May, 2024

On 1st of June, David Evans will become new Managing Director of Movianto UK. He succeeds Paul Wilkinson who has decided to leave the healthcare logistics specialist to pursue a new career direction. “With this promotion from within, we will secure a smooth transition in one of our largest national organization”, says Movianto’s CEO Thomas Creuzberger. “Currently being CEO of TransPharma International, David is already part of the Walden’s Excom team, knows the special needs of our industry and our clients and is able to start directly.” Thus, to ensure a seamless handover David has commenced his transition throughout May, while Paul Wilkinson remains in his position.

David Evans has worked in healthcare and pharmaceutical logistics since 2011 and is looking forward to the challenge of leading Movianto’s largest country organisation.

TransPharma International (TPI), like Movianto belongs to the French owned Walden Group, which offers a one-stop-shop service for logistics and transport of pharmaceutical and healthcare products. As Movianto is concentrating on warehouse logistics in twelve European countries, TPI specializes on delivering international freight solutions including in-house management of customs and trade services. TPI organizes a road network of more than 3,000 vehicles in Europe, cross border express services and air & sea freight forwarding. In the near future Walden Group will provide more details on Evan’s successor to lead TPI.

David Evans has worked in the Walden Group since 2011, acquiring an expertise of over 25 years in logistics in various industry sectors including FMCG, manufacturing, automotive, healthcare and pharmaceuticals. “David continues the groundbreaking and often innovative achievements of Paul, and we are highly confident that he has the skills and the power to do so”, adds Thomas Creuzberger. “Paul has been instrumental in achieving key milestones for Movianto, in particular our response to the COVID vaccination programme and the restructuring of our UK operations. His dedication and hard work have had an extremely positive impact, for which we are very grateful. We wish Paul every success in his future endeavours and thank him for his invaluable contributions.”
