VITAIRA is Further Expanding its European Pharmaceutical Logistics Network with PharmaSped

With the acquisition of PharmaSped GmbH, VITAIRA gains another partner for expanding its European specialty logistics group for pharmaceutical and healthcare services.

PharmaSped complements the existing structures in particular with expertise in temperature-controlled pharmaceutical logistics by road transport and strengthens VITAIRA's presence towards southwestern Europe and Italy.

With the acquisition, VITAIRA continues to build its European specialty logistics group. The aim is to connect companies with complementary competencies and to consolidate highly regulated services along the pharmaceutical value chain – from freight forwarding to fulfillment – across Europe. In doing so, VITAIRA is responding to the growing demands on pharmaceutical logistics in Europe: more complex supply chains, increasing regulatory requirements and high expectations for transparency and security of supply require specialized and resilient logistics solutions.

PharmaSped: Expertise in temperature-controlled pharmaceutical logistics

PharmaSped GmbH, headquartered in Freinsheim (Rhineland-Palatinate), specializes in GDP-compliant pharmaceutical transportation and serves customers in the pharmaceutical industry, pharmaceutical wholesale distribution, and the European pharmaceutical re-import and parallel import sectors. The company has particular expertise in transporting temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals, as well as in telematics-enabled real-time tracking and 24/7 monitoring.
