This year, BIX will examine pharmaceutical cold chains across the supply chain, from clinical development to global commercialization. A dedicated conference session, exhibitions by relevant solution providers, and a guided docent tour will give industry professionals opportunities to explore operational challenges alongside practical solutions.
BIX 2026 is a networking platform connecting the entire biopharmaceutical value chain, from research and development to manufacturing, quality control, logistics, packaging, and commercialization. This year’s event will bring together approximately 300 companies across 600 booths, with more than 30 conference sessions and around 90 speakers. One-to-one partnering between exhibitors and visitors, Open Stage sessions, and networking programs will support business discussions throughout the event.
Scaling Pharmaceutical Cold Chains from Clinical Development to Commercialization
Technical Session 17, “Scaling Pharma Cold Chains: From Clinical Development to Global Commercialization,” will take place on Thursday, October 29, from 4:20 to 6:00 p.m. in Conference Room 317 at COEX. The session will explore how companies can prepare and scale their cold chains as they move from supplying clinical development programs to commercial distribution in global markets.
The session will be chaired by Linda Hee-Yang Kim, CEO of Cold Chain Platform. Speakers include Yooni Kim, Chief Customer Experience Officer at Novotech; Frank Binder, Managing Director of Global Supply Chain Advisors; and Changjin Choi, Head of the Nabota Quality Center at Daewoong Pharmaceutical. Bringing together expertise in clinical development, global supply chains, and pharmaceutical quality, the session will examine cold chain expansion from a range of operational perspectives.
Reliable supply of temperature-sensitive medicines requires more than temperature control during transportation. Companies must also consider how their logistics operations align with each stage of development and the scale of supply. The session will provide clinical, quality, supply chain management, and logistics professionals with an opportunity to review their readiness for global commercialization and identify areas where cross-functional collaboration is needed.
From Temperature-Controlled Transport to Packaging and Monitoring
The exhibition will feature companies offering cold chain solutions, including Brink’s Global Services, CEVA Logistics, Cold Chain Technologies (CCT), ELPRO, SkyCell, DHL, Sejung Shipping, EMBALL’ISO, Willog, e-Cargoway Logistics, Intelsius Korea, Testo Korea, Envirotainer, BioPlay, and Thermolab Korea.
Visitors can explore a range of pharmaceutical logistics, packaging, and temperature management solutions at exhibitor booths and discuss potential collaboration tailored to their products and shipping requirements.
Exploring Cold Chain Solutions with Industry Experts
The Cold Chain Docent Tour will take place on Friday, October 30, from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. Led by an industry expert, the tour will take visitors to relevant exhibitor booths, helping them understand the products and technologies on display and ask questions directly on site.

By exploring the challenges of supply chain expansion in the conference session and examining relevant solutions through the exhibition and guided tour, visitors can make more informed assessments of the technologies and partners their businesses need. Those wishing to arrange discussions with specific companies can pre-register for BIX, search participating exhibitors through the BIX Partnering platform, and request one-to-one meetings.
BIX 2026 will offer professionals in clinical operations, quality, supply chain management, logistics, and procurement an opportunity to explore industry developments, assess technologies firsthand, and identify new partners.
